2005
PHILIPPE CHARBONNEAU LAUNCHES NOREXCO CONSTRUCTION
With an old Ford, a truck bed full of tools, unwavering determination and only a few dollars in the bank, Philippe Charbonneau launches Norexco Construction.
Norexco initially operates as a subcontractor while building its team, laying the foundations of the Norexco name and developing its first client relationships.
2008
NOREXCO BECOMES A GENERAL CONTRACTOR
Initially specializing in the design and construction of custom residential properties, Norexco’s drive to achieve more and grow the company leads it to develop expertise in commercial and multi-residential construction.
2013
THE BEGINNING OF COMMERCIAL AND MULTI-RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS
Norexco begins operating as a builder of modest-scale commercial and low-rise multi-residential projects.
2015
NOREXCO CONSTRUCTION EXPANDS INTO SPECIALIZED DIVISIONS
The creation of Norexco Signature, a division specializing in high-end private residences, allows the company to consolidate two distinct areas of expertise.
Norexco preserves its distinctive and personalized approach to luxury homebuilding while continuing to grow and apply its expertise to large-scale buildings.
2015
DEVELOPMENT, CONSTRUCTION AND MANAGEMENT OF SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITIES
The group begins developing, constructing and managing senior living communities, establishing comprehensive expertise spanning the entire process from design to operations.
This approach enables the creation of safe, people-centred living environments adapted to residents’ evolving needs, while maintaining rigorous operational performance.
Through its Espace Génération division, the company implements structured management practices focused on service quality, long-term asset preservation and the continuous optimization of operations within this sector.

NEW MARKETS & LARGE-SCALE PROJECTS
Norexco delivers major high-rise multi-residential and commercial construction projects.
The company surpasses the milestone of 1,000 units delivered.
As its projects grow in scale and the need for specialized talent continues to increase, Norexco opens new offices in Montréal.
The company’s presence in urban markets continues to expand.
